We worked with Mon Interiors on the rebrand of Pete’s Eats in Llanberis, creating an identity that reflects both the café’s heritage and its unique setting at the heart of Snowdonia. Since 1978, Pete’s Eats has been a landmark meeting point for climbers, walkers and locals, and our goal was to design a brand that carried this story forward while feeling fresh and relevant for today.

Our design approach was rooted in the rugged character of the surrounding landscape. Slate textures and natural tones mirror the mountains that have always defined the area, while a vintage print-inspired typeface gives the brand a timeless, well-worn quality that honours its long-standing reputation.

To further capture the spirit of the community, we introduced a geometric mountain icon that reflects the café’s strong ties to outdoor adventure. This was paired with an emblem-style arrangement of the type, reinforcing a sense of heritage, belonging and memorable presence.

At Seas Design, we regularly collaborate with interior design studios to ensure that branding and interiors work seamlessly together. Working alongside Mon Interiors on this project allowed us to align the brand identity with the new interior concept, creating a cohesive experience that feels both authentic and memorable for visitors to Llanberis and Snowdonia.
