Summer update: A Look at Seas Design's Recent Projects

The summer of 2023 has been an exhilarating time for Seas Design. Our team has delved into a diverse range of projects, ensuring that each client's vision is not just achieved, but surpassed. This summer, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in everything from vineyard branding to capturing the essence of various dental practices across the UK, and collaborating with a talented interior designer in North Wales. Here's a quick recap of some of our notable endeavours.

Branding: Vines of Cheshire

The wine industry, like all businesses, relies heavily on branding to make a mark. Our work with Vines of Cheshire was an intricate journey into the heart of wine-making and the rich tapestry of stories that vineyards inherently possess. Our aim was to create a brand identity that echoed the authenticity, tradition, and elegance of Vines of Cheshire. The team at Seas Design worked closely with the vineyard owners, understanding the nuances of their craft, and translating that into a visual narrative. The resulting branding speaks of earthy tones, sophisticated typography, and design elements that capture the very essence of vineyard culture and luxury.

Capturing Dental Practices: Wigan and the Wirral

Medical establishments, especially dental practices, require a unique approach when it comes to visual representation. This summer, our photography team travelled to several dental practices across the UK, including locations in Wigan and the Wirral.

Our goal was twofold: showcase the professionalism and expertise of the dental teams, and simultaneously evoke a sense of trust and comfort for potential patients. Through a series of candid shots, interior captures, and detailed images of equipment and procedures, we painted a comprehensive picture of these dental practices. The visual storytelling aims to demystify the dental experience and portray it as a seamless, pain-free, and even enjoyable journey.

Rebranding and Website Design: EA Interior Design

One of the most rewarding projects of the summer was our collaboration with a renowned interior designer EA Design based in North Wales. The task at hand was multifaceted – a complete rebranding exercise coupled with a fresh website design.

Rebranding an interior designer is a challenging yet gratifying task. The brand needs to encapsulate the designer’s vision, creativity, and unique style. After extensive consultations, Seas Design created a branding solution for EA Design that was minimalistic yet deeply evocative of the designer's signature approach to spaces.

The website design phase was a natural progression from the branding exercise. We crafted a digital space that was not only user-friendly but also a direct reflection of the designer's ethos. The layout is clean, the navigation intuitive, and the visual elements and typography carefully chosen to enhance the overall user experience. The portfolio section, particularly, showcases the designer’s works in high resolution, ensuring that potential clients get a tangible feel of the quality and creativity on offer.

Kooked North: Branding with an Organic Touch

Branding for a private catering company goes beyond just attractive visuals. It demands an understanding of the culinary philosophy, the target audience, and the sensory experiences the business hopes to evoke. With Kooked North, our design journey was deeply rooted in the earthy landscapes of Northumberland.

Given that Kooked North offers a private catering experience, it was essential to give the branding an air of exclusivity, without sacrificing the inherent warmth of countryside hospitality. The resulting visual identity captures a seamless blend of organic motifs, reminiscent of the verdant Northumberland landscapes, with sophisticated typography that speaks luxury.

Subtle colour palettes, drawn from the hues of the countryside, alongside strategic design elements, emphasise the company’s commitment to using fresh, local produce. The overall branding for Kooked North promises a culinary journey that's both luxurious and genuine, a tribute to the rich gastronomic heritage of the region.

Marketing for Doxford Holiday Cottages

Doxford Holiday Cottages, set amidst the picturesque backdrop of Northumberland, required a marketing strategy that would effectively reach and resonate with potential visitors. Our team at Seas Design approached this project holistically, integrating both organic and paid avenues to maximise reach and engagement.

1. Social Media Management
Understanding the power of storytelling on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, we created a content calendar that showcased the serene beauty of Doxford Holiday Cottages. High-quality images of the cottages, interspersed with captivating stories of Northumberland's attractions, were shared consistently. Engaging content formats like video tours, guest testimonials, and snippets of the region’s history were employed to build an engaged online community and drive bookings.

2. Paid Advertising on Social Platforms
To bolster our organic efforts, we deployed targeted advertising campaigns on major social platforms. By segmenting our audience based on demographics, interests, and online behaviour, we ensured that our ads reached individuals genuinely interested in a holiday experience in Northumberland.

3. Google Ads Campaign
To capture the attention of those actively searching for holiday cottages or getaways in Northumberland, we initiated a Google Ads campaign. Keyword research, coupled with compelling ad copy, ensured that Doxford Holiday Cottages featured prominently in search results. Furthermore, by utilising retargeting techniques, we reminded potential visitors of their interest, leading to increased conversion rates.

Each project, regardless of its scale, was approached with the same level of dedication and attention to detail. Our collaborations have been varied and have given us an opportunity to push our boundaries, explore new domains, and consolidate our expertise in areas we've always excelled in.

As we move forward, we carry with us the experiences of this summer, eager to embrace the projects the rest of the year will bring. We remain steadfast in our mission to design, capture, and create with unparalleled passion and precision.
